That winter bug

August 10, 2008

It had to happen sooner or later - the long hours and cold weather over the calving period have started taking their toll on my body. I woke up this morning with a sore throat and it's only been getting worse throughout the day. The same thing happened to my brother a few days ago and now he can hardly talk, so I don't like my chances of this being just a mild cold that passes over within a day or two.

Still, there is work to be done and no-one around to give us sick leave so it will be a case of keep going no matter what.
