We had 16 bobby calves collected from the farm today - quite a few for one day. Feeding the calves wont get any easier though since there were 9 more born today!
The bobbies are generally a bit more work to feed since they're mostly younger and still learning how to drink properly. Of course the keepers have to learn how to drink too but since they stay on the farm they pretty much feed themselves after a few days (obviously once milk/colostrum has been tipped into their calf-feeder).
