2nd vat collection - good somatics (phew!)

Anxious to see if our second milk collection had a better or worse somatic cell count than what was recorded for our first collection, we logged into fencepost.com and checked our online farm reports.

Great news, the SCC was down to about 170,000 (from 350,000 in the first collection) so it looks like we don't have a mastitis problem in the milking mob.

With milk volumes still pretty low we expect the results to swing up and down a bit but it is a relief to know that we haven't missed anything major.
